EAGLE WISDOM By Carol Small
The majestic eagle has captured the imagination of humanity throughout
history. In particular, symbolically the eagle has provided inspiration
to many indigenous cultures. It is not hard to understand Anyone
fortunate enough to witness an eagle in full flight cannot help but find it
breath taking. The ease in which an eagle captures on upstream of air,
and, with wings outstretched, hangs there effortlessly, soaring high
above creation is an inspiring sight to behold.
The eagle is symbolically known to represents freedom, no doubt
because of his seemingly effortless ability to freely soar to near
impossible heights. He knows where the upstream is and knows he
does not have to do anything but surrender to it. He is aware that he
need expend little of his own energy in order to glide, suspended high
above earth.
One might say that, of all creatures, the eagle is a perfect example of
allowing and trusting in the natural flow of life. He shows us that strain
and debilitating effort are not necessary in order to soar. He is
completely free of resistance.
We can learn much from this magnificent creature, however, there is a
lot more to the eagle than most of us are aware.
The eagle’s story.
The processes the eagle choses to go through appear painful. He
choses to reinvent himself because he loves his life and he knows that
in order to prolong the quality of his life he needs to change.
All creation is pro-survival by nature. The animal kingdom, at large,
instinctively knows when change is needed, and does so in order to
survive. The discomfort associated with the eagle’s metamorphism
does not daunt the eagle. He knows the rewards of change far outweigh
any momentary discomfort.
Human beings, on the other hand are daunted by change. When our lives are not are not the way we would like them we have received a wake up call that change change is needed. When we do not heed this call it is because we are
resisting our natural instinctive pro-survival nature. Unknown self
imposed restrictions, limiting beliefs and old habitual patterns override
our natural instinctive, pro-survival state. Until we are free of these
restrictions we will not improve the quality of our lives.©
Please take the time to watch the awe inspiring story of an eagle’s life.
The original was sent in Power Point and I have made it into a video.
The creator and original music is unfortunately unknown. I have added a
beautiful piece from Eagle Spirit by Melwyn Goodall entitled And
Wings to protect. If you would like a copy of the original Power Point
presentation and music please contact me at therealyou@bigpond.com .
Be all you can be and more, embrace change and soar like an eagle.

VISION GARDENING
Our state of well being is the corner stone of our life experience. The better we feel the
easier our lives flow. Our general state of well being not only influences our physical and
emotional health but is the governing factor in our ability to manifest our dreams.
When we are doing something we enjoy or love our clarity is enhanced. While our focus
remains on this activity there is little room for random thoughts to destroy our natural state
of well being. This is the state we need to be in to clearly define and believe our dreams
possible, for until we do, we have no hope of achieving them.
One of the most wonderful and enjoyable ways of attaining this state of clarity and joy is to
create something beautiful: And what better way than to co-create with nature.
Now I certainly do not have a green thumb so don’t be deterred.
Our natural function is to create and when we create positively and with purpose we feel
great.
A simple but highly effective form of positive creation that will bring much pleasure, joy and
help you focus on a specific dream is to create what I call a vision garden.
Nature is the epitome of abundance, growth and beauty and by aligning ourselves with this
very essence we are in a natural state of well being. Dreams can become reality.
The beauty of the vision garden is its simplicity. You don’t have to cultivate a whole garden. All you need to start is one dream, one pot and some seedlings. It helps if the pot is attractive and
the seedlings are a variety of flower in colours that you resonate with.
Your dream can be anything that you desire to manifest in your life. For dreams to come to
fruition we must clearly define our intention and maintain focus, unclouded by limiting
beliefs. We need a workable plan which we must nurture by actioning. No matter how
small, we do require some belief that our dream is possible.
By choosing a pot and seedlings you are defining what you want. Your dream is
synonymous with this process so this is when you clearly define what it is you want. Your
dream is now aligned and in harmony with the vision garden.
The potting process requires focus. As you fill the pot with soil imagine this being the
foundation of your plan. As you tap the seedlings from the confines of their small container
feel yourself being free of any self imposed restrictions Observe how compacted the root
system has become and feel the joy the plant will feel as its root system is given the
freedom to flourish and grow. Align yourself with this feeling of freedom and give yourself
permission to flourish and grow.
Change, although positive in this case can be unbalancing and so it is wise to put a few
drops of Australian Bush Flower Emergency Essence in the watering can. Take seven
drops of the same under your tongue to assist you with the process of change.
The nurturing process requires action. In order for your plants to grow and flower you must
regularly maintain your vision garden. This provides you with a regular opportunity to align
and focus on your dream. It is advisable to have the vision garden in a place that regularly
gets your attention. The more your attention is drawn to the unfolding beauty of your garden the more joy, focus and well being you will feel. Your life and dreams are analogous with the
unfolding abundance of your vision garden display.
If your charges wither or die before the end of their cycle don’t whip yourself up. The plant
has produced seeds that, although dormant, still maintain the essential life essence.
Purchase some more seedlings and get some expert help. Likewise, if at any time you
feel your life and or your dreams are not unfolding to your liking it is purely because of some unknown limiting belief. Be thankful for being alerted to this and consider getting some assistance.
As the season changes and your plants flowering cycle comes to a close it is time for fresh ideas and action. Welcome this new cycle as a means of instigating new visions and dreams.
Vision Garden Potting Parties are a fun way to create your Vision Garden with others and
be guided through the process. Held at a local nursery, pot, soil, seedlings, gardening tips, refreshments, morning tea and envisioning techniques are all inclusive for $35.
